I write. Often about music. Sometimes, I write about other things like actors, books, or politics. I write features like this one and this one, too. Two more - this one was a cover. And I review music (that’s a love/hate thing). I’m writing a novel, which lately consists of me writing a paragraph, then going back to one I wrote two months ago, deciding I hate it, editing it, pacing around (maybe taking a call from my mother - “yes, mom, I will call the doctor”), getting distracted by the constant flood of press releases into my inbox, eventually giving up for the night to change into sweatpants (who am I kidding, I was already wearing them), put on a record, have a beer, and decide maybe I’ll work on short stories for a while.
I am also a communications consultant & strategist. I like cause work, non-profits and organizations working for social change (like this one, this one, also this one, oh and this one and this one and this one too.)
